Alcohol Laws and production in the 19th century, anyone know anything?I'm doing a school assignment for history class and I need to do it on "Alcohol Prohibition and Production in the 19th century". I'm searching my ass off but not find much good information about either the alcohol laws or production. If anyone knows anything about the laws or how it was being produced and such, or anything at all involving alcohol in the 19th century, PLEASE help me by answering. Thanks in advance.

Prohibition laws & Pre-Prohibition laws
Womens Suffragette Movement (This subject has tons of info regarding the mood of the 19th century due to the effects of alcohol consumption on the masses)

My family made & distributed alcohol in the 1800's until the mid 1930's.
They came to America from Ireland.
