Beta blockers + alcohol?

Beta blockers + alcohol?I started off on 10mg of Propranolol 3x a day in October for social anxiety, and recently (after seeing the doctor) have cut down to one a day, sometimes I go 3/4 days without taking any.. Would it be safe to drink alcohol when I HAVEN'T taken any, and how long would I have to NOT take any for it to be safe to drink? :S Thanks x

According to what I just found on the web, the biggest problem with propranolol and alocohol is that the alcohol may keep the propranolol from being absorbed.
