Does anyone know of a college or university that has an alcohol policy similar to Bates?Bates' alcohol policy effectively states that students are allowed to consume drinks of a low alcoholic content such as beer in the dorms but not hard alcohol.

All that means is that it is okay if you are over 21. If you are under 21, you may not get in trouble with the university, but it is still against the law for you to drink underage, so if police happen to be in the dorm and catch you drinking beer, you could still get in trouble.
