Have any laws been passed to help prevent drinking alcohol during pregnancy?I'm doing my senior research paper on effects of drinking during a pregnancy. I was wondering if its a crime to drink during a pregnancy and if any laws have been passed to prevent it.

no. it is illegal to refuse alcohol to a pregnant woman. it is considered discrimination.

no, but i personally think it should be considered endangerment to a fetus....and should be illegal.

no laws in place, although there have been cases of women being forced into detox during their pregnancy....
