how many people die from alcohol each year?
i am doing a project for school and i need the amount of deaths for anything realted to alcohol each year: DUI, fights, alcohol poisoning, etc.

VERY few actually die from alcohol
(basically has to be alcohol poisoning)

MANY people die from diseases caused or increased by alcohol:
liver disease
heart disease
or die from car accidents with people affected by alcohol, etc.

About 15000 - 18000 each year from car accidents where a drunk driver was involved.

But if you factor in other things that number goes way way up. A certain percent of all of the following death causes are attributed to alcohol.

Falling
suicides
drownings
heart disease
respiratory disease
homicides
fires
