Why are alcohol advertisements legal AND why is alcohol and tobacco legal BUT ecstasy and cannabis isn't?Even though the two later have been shown to do less damage then alcohol and tobacco.

Once mainstream society accepts any stimulis as a norm it usually becomes legal....however, smoking, is on the downswing....cannibis is not used by the majority nor is ecstacy....
Start a lobby group to legalize.....its a free country....

Alcohol and tobacco are legal because they are very hard things to illegalize considering the amount of people that are addicted to each. Just look at the prohibition era. Marijuana is already banned and easy to keep banned because it has been for years and because there are far fewer people addicted to it.

becuz the govenment hasnt found an excuse to tax the shit outta weed yet.even tho it does soo much gud for the body and the environment and wud dogud for the economy. also, weed isnt addctive, so the government/ drug companies have less of a guarantee. and bcuz of the government giving out exaggerad d false statements about weed, they basically put it into pplz head that weed is as bad heroin, or crack. So they accomplisd the goal of making it socially unacceptable and misunderstood so ppl wudnt realize the truth about the gud it does.
