Alan Jones calls for the topic of Drug Legalisation to be brought up.

17th October 2007, conservative Sydney radio host Alan Jones had this to say. It was very surprising to hear a conservative pundit take this side in the debate, I for one was very impressed. One correction i'd like to make though: When he talks about "Rat Poison in Ecstasy tablets" - he is actually talking about the common blood thinning medication "Warfarin". Little known fact is that some rat poisons are simply an incredibly strong overdose of Warfarin - causing massive bleeding and death in the rat. Clearly as no-one was ill, the street Ecstasy tablets did not contain anywhere near a toxic dose of this common medication, and were thus perfectly safe for human consumption from that perspective anyway. At most it would have been like taking a lot of Omega3 fish oil (which thins the blood). Obviously "Rat Poison found in Ecstacy Tablets" is a much more sensational headline than "Common Blood Thinning Medication found in Ecstacy Tablets". en.wikipedia.org
