What do you think is the most rational decision?Tobacco deaths per year 400,000
Alcohol deaths per year 100,000
Marijuana deaths per year 0
you wont go to jail if you don't do it in public
this guy was eating pizza while driving a car and crashed i guess the cause of death was papa johns by your logic
Marijuana is decriminalized in Amsterdam (also California) and iv never seen a society function so poorly /sarcasm

The DEA's Administrative Law Judge, Francis Young concluded: "In strict medical terms marijuana is far safer than many foods we commonly consume. For example, eating 10 raw potatoes can result in a toxic response. By comparison, it is physically impossible to eat enough marijuana to induce death. Marijuana in its natural form is one of the safest therapeutically active substances known to man. By any measure of rational analysis marijuana can be safely used within the supervised routine of medical care."

Your source is in error.
There were 13 people killed when a pot head train driver missed his exit and hit another train head on while high on weed.
Then there was one with 20 some people. Then car accidents were the toxicology test is not done for thc.
Then there are wrecks where pot was involved, then there are all the dead beats who stay stoned to the point of where they can not keep a job and we tax payers pay for their kids.
If you legalize it then they will eventually call their pot habit a "disease" and get disability for their disease.
I bet the death rate for alcohol is much higher than you know, because most of those alcoholics will die from alcoholism later on in life and over half the highway deaths have alcohol involved.
In 1984 the Federal Government took in 12.3 million in revenue off the sales of alcohol and turned around and spent out 88.9 million on the problems alcohol causes(disability and health care for alcoholics with their "disease").
The same would happen for weed.

Provide accurate figures, and I'll be happy to answer.
I worked in an emergency room during college and PERSONALLY observed marijuana-related fatalities - so to say that this is zero is either dishonest or ignorant.
Drunk or stoned - when some idiot gets behind the wheel of a vehicle, they are operating a lethal weapon.
Drunk or stoned - when some idiot is swimming in a lake, river, ocean, etc. . . . the likelihood of death by drowning increases dramatically.
