breastfeeding alcohol question, again.?i am asking at the risk of repeating a bunch of other ladies but exactly how long after i drink do i have to pump out and throw away? i am planning a weekend away with my fiance and i want to drink. is it 2 hours after i'm done drinking or what? thanks.

depend on how much you drink but usually around 2-4 hours

"Pumping and dumping" is nonsence, not necessary as long as you stick to having just a couple of drinks, you dont want to get blind drunk do you? so just stink to a couple and you can feed her when you want.

Please do not drink if you are breastfeeding. There is no safe amount, and surely your child's welfare could come before your need to drink. Can you not have the weekend with your fiance sober?

bottle feed for 2 days while breast clears of any toxins then go back and breast feed then you will have a safe baby but a little rum and milk never hurt a baby

you are supose to pump a full days worth and throw it away ..
you should also smell and taste your breast milk .. youll be able to taste/smell if it still has alcohol in it ..
