Project Roadblock: Let's Eliminate Alcohol Related Traffic Deaths







This holiday season, as part of Project Roadblock, we're working to bring the total number of alcohol related fatalities to zero. In 2008, 34 South Dakotans died in alcohol related crashes, accounting for 29% of total traffic deaths. In Minnesota, 229 people died. That's 30% of all traffic deaths there. In Iowa, 89 people were killed... that's 22% of all fatalities. So when do you know if you've had to much to drink? "Even if you question yourself, whether you should or shouldn't, you've already answered your question."
