For those of you who actually know about alcohol and breastfeeding?About how long would it take for two 4 oz glasses of 12% white wine to leave my system completely??
also, about how long after drinking it would it be safe to breastfeed again?
I have milk pumped.
and don't just tell me that if Im sober enough to drive, Im sober enough to breastfeed..

12 hours it will be safe to breastfeed again.
But it will take about 20-24 hours to be out of your bloodstream.

My understanding is that one bottle of beer is out of your system and your milk in 3 hours. I don't know how that would compare to 8 oz. of wine that's 12 % alcohol. If you are not feeling any effects from the alcohol then you should be fine to breast feed.

An hour or two, approximately. Once you are no longer feeling the effects of the alcohol, you can safely resume breastfeeding.
