It is the hangover factor that kicked in you. After drinking much or more our body can take, the body chills and thus the sensation of feeling feverish. It exhibits a false pretense which is "normal" for hangovers. It would "normally" subside an hour or a day after the consumption of alcohol is released or eliminated from your body through perspiration, urination, or defecation.
It is a precipitating factor that your body could not take the burden of the consumption. Please be careful my friend, what you experienced is alcohol intoxication which may lead to an allergic reaction which in turn could lead to asphyxiation, brain and liver or multisystem damage.
As a Friend... My advise... DRINK MODERATELY or none at all. It's your choice, I'm here if you need me.

It is very common to feel flushed and "feverish" especially in the face. I might even say it's normal. Keep your drinks down to one or two a day (if you are grown up) and you won't be having many problems in the future.
There is no such thing as a "normal "reaction to alcohol. It all depends on the age, weight, gender, race (especially some people of Asian descent), allergies, health, eating, medication, illegal drugs...
Don't use yourself for experiments. They might kill you.
I wish you well!
