How does Tobacco or Alcohol affect your heart?I am supposed to write a short paragraph about it for a project, but the websites I go on can't give me a simple, short answer, instead, they give me complicated responses.

They can give you heart disease, heart failure, strokes, and/or heart attacks.

That's because it's a complicated question. Tobacco and alcohol affect different people in different ways. And the problem is compounded by life style, by medication a person may be taking and a number of other factors.
