Alcohol Info: I took tylenol today (acetaminophen). Would it be okay to drink a glass of alcohol tomorrow?

I took tylenol today (acetaminophen). Would it be okay to drink a glass of alcohol tomorrow?I know acetaminophen and alcohol don't mix because liver damage will result. I heard that acetaminophen stays in your system for 5 days? Is that true? And if so, would that mean I would not be able to have a glass of alcohol tomorrow or the next few days?

I think as long as you don't use either in excess you will be ok. You could call a pharmacist or a doctor if you have questions.

No problem....

I think you will be okay taking them on different days. You certainly don't want to mix them at the same time though, or use one of them if you already use alot of the other one. That's why I just avoid acetaminophen altogether :)

I believe it's only 3 days, depending on how much you took. I think it's only two tylenol every 4 to 6 hours. But if you don't take any more tylenol you'll be all set to have a drink tomorrow.
I've taken tylenol and had a drink the same day. I don't do this every day or every week or month. If it happens once in a blue moon as they put it your all set.

People who take tylenol like M&M's and drink to get drunk and do this every day or all the time are the ones to have major problems with their health later.

If you took the recommended dose of Tylenol (acetaminophen), there should be no problem with you having a drink as long as it is in moderation.
