They define moderate drinking, (may even be healthful) this way. Yet if you measure out 1.5 ounces, into a cocktail glass, it is far, far, less than a typical drink. Something is not right in those studies.
But in the studies, the medical team doesn't measure the drinks. They ask the people how many drinks they usually have. And the point is, the drinks are usually more than 1.5 ounces. But the researchers use the 1.5. So the medical studies are not correct at all

Someone who drinks obsessively. If you have to have drink everynight when you come home from work, you are a functioning alcoholic. There are many degrees of alcoholicsm...none are good.
