Ibuprofen + alcohol?I took 2 ibuprofen tablets at around 1030 this morning.
Will I be okay to drink alcohol at around 11 pm?

According to the label, it takes about 6 hours for the ibuprofen to leave your system. You should be fine. However, next time, if you're planning to drink, take plain aspirin. Then you can skip the worry about liver damage.

It won't even be in your blood steam at that point.
It is Tylenol that is the real problem anyhow. Tylenol works your liver pretty hard, so does alcohol. So you really shouldn't mix them. Ibuprofen is like aspirin, it could upset your stomach but it processes out another route.

Yes, the ibuprofen has worn off.. My dad use to take ibuprofen with beer.. He's not a drunk.. He doesn't do that anymore, since he had a surgery removing a tumor from his stomach he's decided to be healthier, and do the right thing) anyhow... he didn't get the tumor from that, something to do with shellfish he had eaten.. Talk to you doctor if you are in doubt though, cuz I'm just some stranger in cyber space..

yes you'll be fine. i took 3 and had 5 shots of tequila 1 hour later....not good.
