Personal experience with Zoloft and Alcohol consumption?

Personal experience with Zoloft and Alcohol consumption?Has anyone with a zero tolerance to alcohol taken zoloft for a prolonged period of time and then drank in excess of 3 beverages while still on Zoloft and if so what were the side effects? And in general are their any serious side effects to this combination say 6 or more beverages?

I think you need to read the cautions on your information given with the Zoloft - it's there for a reason. One drink could have a terrible effect on someone and another person may be fine. You will never know until you drink - 6 or more beverages is going too far though.

I was on one of the highest doses of Zoloft for 4 years...
after about the first 4 months on it...I had about 4 drinks one night, and I got really sleepy and drunk-like.
I didnt get sick or anything like that..just super duper drowsy.
I had a headache the next morning. It was nothing major...but I still wouldnt mess around and drive or anything. Just take it slow.
