People who became drug addicts, who have once said they would not become one..?Everyone At some point in their life says or thinks "imnotgoing to become a drug addict/alcoholic. Or when someone tries pot, they say, itsno big deal, this is all im going to do.im not gonna become a druggie. It always starts out innocent. But then sometimes they start doing another drug, and they say the same thing, then another, and another and before u know it, there addicted to cocaine, or heroine, or meth. Of course, some people do not. Some try pot, then stop.
But what i want to know is the percentage of people in America who do grow up becoming drug addicts, despite what they have said.
didnt mean that weed leads u to becoming a drug addict. I know that its curiosity. But i just want to know what is the percentage of people in america whos curiosity went too far.

i suggest u see the movie superhigh me.... u are what u want to be... i done drugs, alcohol and smoke a lot of weed... i still got strait As and got accepted to fiu fsu ucf.... y because i dont let the drugs control me...

to tell you the truth i don't think curiosity is what leads a person to become an addict whether its alcohol or meth, i think its about what the drug gives them that they otherwise don't have. i come from a family of addicts, my dads in prison for a murder he commited while he was high off crank. he's a meth addict and he did and im sure he still uses that and coke in prison. what im getting to is most people in my family also were very broken people. depression, aniexty, other illnesses hauted them and when there high it numbs the pain.
weed is like alcohol, easy to get your hand on. you try it more and more. you like the feeling. you want a stronger feeling. you try stronger things. harder and harder drugs until you only get that feeling from drugs. your only "happy" when your high and all you want is too be high.
when i was 13 and my dad got sentenced i swore i would never even drink. i planned to live my entire life sober. im 16 now and i can't remember the last day i didn't have atleast two drinks and i use occasionally. i don't know if that answers your question at all.
