What are the effects of long term alcohol abuse? My boyfriend is 32 years old. He used to go out and get drunk several times a week. Now that he's with me he goes only once or twice a week. I'm much younger and since we're in a serious relationship i know that hes going to have health problems before me. I tried to get him to stop drinking so much and he wont slow down any more. He's been getting totally wasted several times a week since he became 21. I want to give him a good arguement on what he's doing to his body but I need some info on htis first. So they way hes going what are the effects going to be?
