alcohol liver damage??im am 18 and i am off work with the easter holidays and have been drinking every night this is my 11th day now off drinking white storm cider 2 liter a night and under my ribs have swollen a wee bit my pal said that it could be my liver is this true??????????

i would RUN to the hospital because there is a very good chance it is liver damage

yes it is true, my mom died from cirrhosis of the liver caused by drinking too much, my advice to you, lay off the alcohol

No, it isn't your liver. Cirrhosis happens after YEARS of heavy drinking, not a couple of nights of hitting it hard.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was...if you feel sick and out of sorts...give your liver a break if you get cirrosis it will be scarred for life and never be the same.This can give you Jaundice and you will go a funny yellow color..also very hard to cure.If you stuff up your liver you will be real sorry as it is the organ that cleans your blood and stops you becoming anaemic and feeling weak and horrible.Be sensible and cut down on your drinking before you do something serious.
