how long does alcohol affect the body biologically?I know the substance is actually cleared in a couple of hours but the biological affect must persist beyond that. my guess is about two weeks. I am asking based of the fact that it is more difficult for me to wake up in the morning up to 14 days post drink.

This depends on an array of factors, such as how much you drank, your current health, your age, etc. Make sure you're not taking any medicines that are not supposed to be taken with alcohol, this can effect your sleeping patterns.
