Guinness also was once perscribed to pregnant women back in the day to help with various ailments.

Trivia : Did you know that Guiness was actually made by accident
They burnt the brew in the ovens so they gave it to the workers who fed the ovens back in the day they saw how drunk they got off of it and decided they would sell it seeing how most who visited taverns back then were of blue collar/ peasant like nature it sold quickly in the taverns . And it suppose to be served at room tempature
